Dr. Chuah Chai Wen, is a Senior Lecturer in Information Security at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Johor, Malaysia. She was former leader of Center of Information Security Research (CISR). She has undertaken extensive research on information security specific in cryptography, symmetric cipher, DNA cryptography, security formal proof and secure protocols. Her key publications are Omega Network Pseudorandom Key Generation Based On DNA Cryptography (Journal of Applied Sciences, 2022), On Power Analysis Attacks Against Hardward Stream Ciphers (International Journal of Information and Computer Security, 2022), and Leakage Resilient of Timing Side Channel Attack for Key Exchange Security Model (International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering, 2019). She has awarded to join the ASEAN Talented Young Science Program at Guangxi Academy of Science for 12 months to undergo the research related with deep learning and machine learning to identify DNA-binding (Guangxi Academy of Science, Oct-2022 - Oct-2023). She also the book editor for Emerging Trends In Information Security Application Series (2017, 2018, 2022).
